We appreciate every penny raised to support our charity, here are some ideas to help you to get started...
Working alongside education, the police, youth justice services and young offender institutes, The James Brindley Foundation is already empowering young people to make positive life choices for a safer, brighter future. We rely on the generosity of like minded people, who believe in our cause and who want to play their part, in bringing about an end to youth violence.
Thank you for lending us a helping hand! – Here are a few simple ideas, but feel free to make up your own.
Dress down day
This will take a little planning, so please talk to your employers first!! It is a popular feature at work to have a ‘dress down’ day, so perhaps you could raise funds for our charity, we are always happy to help! Check out our ‘ways to donate‘ page, to make it simple, and secure to get your donation to us.
Head Shave
A great way to raise awareness and go social at the same time! Charity head shaves are increasingly popular, if you let us know your plan, we can help you to raise awareness, through our social media channels.
CAR WASH
You may want to partner with a local garage or hotel, or even a car washing forecourt, somewhere with plenty of passing traffic, think about friends who could help out. This would need to be a real team effort!
Quiz Night
A quiz can really bring people together, with topical questions and entertainment, be aware that some venues may charge for rooms or go ‘virtual’ through ‘Zoom’ or ‘Teams’.
Fun Run
We had the ‘Wolf Run’ in 2019, which was a fantastic success! You could organise your own run, socially distanced of course! Talk to us about branded running vests for you or your team, to become more visible and to raise awareness.
Sponsorship
If your business or personal ethics aline with our causes, you could support our projects and campaigns through corporate sponsorship. We have big ideas, to make a big impact that will build positive brand awareness. See our Campaigns HERE.
